Job summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) Australia, NZ and Pacific Islands seeks a Client Consulting Manager based in Sydney for a 12-month maternity leave contract. You will lead multi-disciplinary engagements for clients across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities include preparing proposals, interview guides, data requirements, and presenting findings while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in consulting or corporate strategy.
• Experience in payments or financial services.
• Experience in consumer banking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency with AI tools (Microsoft CoPilot, Claude).
• Strong team orientation, collaborative, flexible, able to work in a matrixed organization.
• Superior detail orientation with high-quality data analysis.
• Experience in analytics to yield insights and ability to build models in Excel.
• Exposure to customer experience design (human-centered design).

Responsibilities

• Work on consulting engagements for Visa's clients in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
• Prepare client proposals and project plans, identifying dependencies, roles and outcomes.
• Prepare project materials including interview guides, data requirements, concepts and frameworks.
• Undertake client interviews, collecting and analysing inputs.
• Create compelling PowerPoint presentations to illustrate findings and recommendations.
• Manage junior team members such as Associates, Analysts and Interns.
• Ensure engagements stay on track using governance frameworks and resolving complex problems.
• Identify solutions and recommendations that address client objectives and drive performance.
• Collaborate with local client relationship managers and other teams to support engagement and execution.
