About The Role

Provide effective processing, verification, and reconciliation of fortnightly payments to creditors, managing the end-to-end Procurement to Payment cycle with a focus on process improvement. The role includes month-end tasks, supporting system implementations, workflow design, and occasional payroll assistance.

What You’ll Do
  • Be the first point of contact for all accounts payable queries.
  • Process payments ensuring compliance with delegation, coding, and approvals, including foreign currency payments and RCTIs.
  • Review outstanding liabilities (Aged Creditor review).
  • Manage Purchase Order (PO) process and supplier onboarding.
  • Handle corporate credit card transactions and employee expenses.
  • Manage bank balances, internal transfers, and month-end journals.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve invoicing issues.
  • Support payroll functions as needed.
About you
  • 5+ years’ experience in Procure to Payment functions within a medium to large Australian organisation.
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Experience with payroll and finance systems like Employment Hero and Microsoft F&O is advantageous.
  • Proven involvement in process improvement projects focusing on automation, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Exposure to payroll is a plus.
