Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) seeks a skilled Business Analyst to join the payments team in Sydney. You will work with product managers, clients and software developers to define payment solutions, ensure compliance, and improve transaction processing capabilities.

You will also serve as Product Owner within the Scrum team, managing the backlog, prioritizing requirements, refining user stories and aligning with industry standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst in the payments industry.
• Experience with ISO 8583, NEXO, EMV and alternative payments.
• Experience with acquirers, PSPs and payment processors.
• Hands-on with payment APIs, RESTful services, JSON/XML messaging.
• Familiar with PCI-DSS, PSD2 and SCA compliance.
• Ability to write BRDs, functional specs, and API documentation.
• Backlog management as a Scrum Product Owner.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Define payment solutions and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Act as Product Owner and manage product backlog.
• Collaborate with product managers, clients and development teams.
• Showcase functionality to stakeholders and gather feedback.
