Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to work with product managers, clients, and development teams to shape payment solutions. You will ensure compliance with industry standards and translate business needs into robust technical requirements.

You will also act as Product Owner within the scrum team, managing the backlog, clarifying requirements, and driving delivery of secure, scalable payment capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the payments industry.
• Experience with protocols such as ISO 8583, NEXO, EMV, and alternative payment methods.
• Experience working with acquirers, PSPs, and payment processors.
• Hands-on with payment APIs, RESTful web services, and JSON/XML messaging.
• Understanding regulatory and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, PSD2, SCA).
• Ability to write clear BRDs, functional specifications, and API documentation.
• Manage and maintain the product backlog, working as a product owner within a scrum team.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Define payment solution requirements in collaboration with product managers, clients and dev teams.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Act as Product Owner, manage backlog, prioritise user stories and provide clarifications.
• Document user stories, process flows, UI/UX mockups and API specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to showcase functionality and gather early feedback.
