Job summary

Core Talent in Canberra is seeking an experienced Site Foreman / Site Manager to oversee day-to-day paving operations on a major infrastructure project. The role is a temporary contract with mobilising two additional crews and a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity on site.

You will read construction drawings, coordinate plant, labour and subcontractors, monitor progress and resolve issues, and lead site teams to deliver works that meet program and client requirements while

Qualifications

Proven experience managing paving works on civil infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of construction safety and quality standards.
Current Forklift Licence.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Willingness and ability to successfully complete a Certificate III medical assessment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate paving works on site.
Lead site crews to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to program.
Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Coordinate plant, labour, and subcontractors to meet project objectives.
Monitor site progress and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
Ensure work is completed in accordance with project and client requirements.
