Job summary

Sunshine Coast Patio Specialists is seeking an experienced Patio Installer / Carpenter to join our installation team on the Sunshine Coast, including Nambour. You will install insulated roof systems, flyover patios and residential carports, reading plans and working from drawings, and contribute to high-quality outdoor living spaces.

We offer consistent local work, a full-time position at $50–$60 per hour plus super, and a supportive small-team environment with opportunities for long-term

• Execute residential projects across the Sunshine Coast.

Sunshine Coast Patio Specialists is looking for an experienced Patio Installer / Carpenter to join our installation team.

We specialise in patios and carports across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, with the majority of our work involving insulated roof systems, flyover patios and residential carports.

We have consistent ongoing work and are looking for someone who can become a reliable long-term member of our team.

Experienced Patio Installer / Carpenter

$50–$60 per hour + super | Full-Time | Sunshine Coast

Sunshine Coast Patio Specialists is looking for an experienced Patio Installer / Carpenter to join our installation team.

We specialise in patios and carports across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, with the majority of our work involving insulated roof systems, flyover patios and residential carports.

We have consistent ongoing work and are looking for someone who can become a reliable long-term member of our team.

The work

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Installing insulated patio and carport roof panels
• Installing aluminium and steel posts and beams
• Flyover patio and carport installations
• Flashings, gutters and downpipes
• Fascia and structural connections
• General carpentry associated with patio and carport installations
• Reading plans and working from installation drawings
• Residential projects throughout the Sunshine Coast

What we're looking for

Ideally, you'll be a qualified carpenter or an experienced patio/roof installer who:

• Has strong practical construction skills
• Can work confidently without needing constant supervision
• Takes pride in producing neat, professional work

• Works well as part of a small team
• Understands residential construction sites and safe work practices
• Can read plans and work through an installation logically
• Is comfortable working at heights
• Looks after tools, equipment and customers' properties

Previous experience installing patios, carports, insulated roof panels, roofing, sheds or similar structures would be highly regarded.

Requirements

• Construction White Card
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Own basic hand and cordless tools
• Relevant carpentry or construction experience
• Ability to work throughout the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas

A carpentry trade qualification is preferred, although we will consider someone with strong patio, roofing or structural installation experience who can demonstrate the right level of ability.
