Job summary

CQ Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership on patient safety and quality improvement across Central Queensland. You will coordinate clinical governance portfolios and drive practice improvements while supporting staff through orientation and education.

You will participate in audits and research to achieve agreed care outcomes, fostering a collaborative, evidence-based culture and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience leading within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication to prepare reports and engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and professional advice on patient safety and quality improvement.

  • Identify inconsistencies between policy and practice and lead the implementation of clinical innovations.
