St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Food Services Assistant/Cook for a fixed-term role until February 2027, 28 hours per week, based in Kew.

You will plate meals, reheat and serve to patients, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure food safety standards are met. A Food Safety Certificate HLTFSE001 and prior commercial kitchen experience are required, with aged care experience desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Must have Food Safety Certificate HLTFSE001.
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Previous experience in an aged care environment is desirable.
• A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check, or willing to obtain.

Aufgaben

• Prepare short order meals as required.
• Ensure core temperature has reached above 75 degrees.
• Monitor waste management.
• Maintain work area in accordance with Food Safety standards, including thorough kitchen cleaning and sanitising.
• Inform coordinators of required food stock levels.
