Job summary

South Western Sydney Local Health District in Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is seeking a Patient Experience Manager to lead, implement, and evaluate patient experience initiatives that improve quality of care.

You will work with managers, clinicians, and support staff to strengthen feedback systems, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure patient experiences inform service development and operational excellence across the facility.

Qualifications

• Motivated healthcare professional with experience in patient safety, clinical governance, quality improvement, or risk management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to build relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience leading patient experience initiatives and using feedback to inform service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient experience initiatives across the facility.
• Build capability of managers, clinicians, and staff to respond to patient feedback.
• Drive quality improvement activities to enhance patient satisfaction and experiences of care.
• Analyse patient feedback, complaints, compliments, and experience data to identify trends and inform service improvements.
• Foster a culture of patient-centred care across the organisation.
