Job summary

You will work with clinical staff, develop strategies to welcome patients and carers, manage patient information, and help escalate issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of initiatives to improve the emergency department waiting experience for patients and carers.
• Communicate with triage and waiting room staff to coordinate patient communication and escalation of concerns.
• Support and develop strategies to foster a welcoming culture for patients and carers while awaiting care.
• Identify suboptimal service and potential sources of complaints and drive improvement initiatives.
• Mediates non-clinical issues and handles complex customer service requests efficiently.
