You will implement patient-waiting improvements, coordinate with triage staff, and help create a welcoming, culturally responsive environment for patients and carers.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve the emergency department waiting experience for patients.
• Regularly communicate with triage and waiting room staff for coordinated patient communication.
• Develop strategies to make patients and carers feel welcomed while waiting.
• Commit to improving services for diverse cultural groups.
• Provide timely contact with patients, including GoShare app information.
• Identify suboptimal service and reduce waiting room complaints; monitor feedback.
• Mediate non-clinical issues and assist with complex customer service requests.
• Contribute ideas to improve work processes and implement change.
