Macquarie University Hospital is seeking a part-time Hospital Catering Assistant within the Hotel Services team to deliver high-quality meals and patient-focused service for patients, staff and visitors. You will report to the Executive Chef and play a flexible, essential role in food preparation and service across hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a catering assistant or similar food preparation role.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and attention to detail.

• Prepares meals for patients, visitors, and staff with a focus on presentation and hospitality.
• Reliable and detail oriented, ensuring patient dietary needs are met and promptly communicated to the team when necessary.
