Job summary

Opal HealthCare in Australia is seeking compassionate Pathway Carers to join our Care Communities across multiple locations. This entry pathway role provides hands-on experience, structured learning and a clear path to a long-term career caring for older Australians.

You will work with experienced care teams, assisting residents with daily living, building relationships and learning on the job while pursuing a Certificate III.

Qualifications

• No previous aged care experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday on AM shifts.
• Compassionate, caring, people-focused with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living tasks in a safe, respectful way.
• Build genuine relationships and provide social connection.
• Assist non-clinical care, including meals, laundry and environment.
• Learn on the job while working towards Certificate III.

This role has been designed as an entry pathway into aged care, providing you with hands-on experience, structuredlearning and the opportunity to build a meaningful long-term career supporting older Australians.

Working alongside experienced care teams and under the guidance ofour clinical team,you'llassistresidents with their daily care, wellbeing, socialconnectionand quality of life while developing the skills and knowledgerequiredfor a rewarding future in aged care.

Nopreviousaged care experience isrequired-we'llprovide the training,supportand career pathway to help you succeed via the Opal HealthCare Academy!

WhatYou’ll Do:

• Support residents with daily living tasks in a safe and respectful way
