Job summary

Laverty Pathology, part of Healius, is seeking a Pathology Collector in Kempsey for a casual part-time role (30 hours/week). Mon-Fri, 7:30am–3:30pm. You will collect blood and other samples, ensuring a welcoming patient experience and accurate handling to support timely diagnosis.

Training provided through Healius Academy; WWCC and immunisation requirements apply. Join a supportive team focused on high-quality care and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pathology collection is desirable but not essential.
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential.
• A healthcare background or strong customer-facing experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes.
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site.
