Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) invites applications for a continuing Middle Leader role in pastoral care at Emmaus College, Jimboomba. You will lead pastoral programs, oversee student welfare, and supervise staff delivering religious education and wellbeing initiatives.

The position involves budget planning, resource management, and collaboration with families and external partners to uphold Gospel values.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading pastoral care aligned with the school ethos.
• Strong ability to monitor holistic student development across academics, social and spiritual growth.
• Knowledge of behaviour management to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Experience organizing pastoral activities such as camps or retreats.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in pastoral care for a designated group of students.
• Supervise teachers involved in student pastoral care and provide guidance.
• Coordinate induction for new teachers within the area of responsibility.
• Monitor holistic student development and address concerns with appropriate action.
• Coordinate staff efforts to support student welfare and align with the school ethos.
• Manage student behaviour following school policies to ensure safety and respect.
