Job summary

Endurance Mining seeks a Paste Crew member for Abra Mine Site to install, maintain and QAQC underground Paste Fill infrastructure on a rotating N/S roster. Reporting to the Paste Fill Leading Hand, you will work hands-on to keep paste filler systems running safely and efficiently alongside experienced professionals.

Ideal candidates have 12 months in a paste/service crew, with experience installing reticulation and walls, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in a paste or service crew environment.
• Experience installing steel and poly paste reticulation, and paste and vent walls.
• Underground experience preferred, though not essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hazard identification and risk management processes, actively promoting safety and demonstrating personal commitment to a safe workplace
• Proactively engage in safety programs with contractors and support thorough reporting and investigation of incidents to prevent reoccurrence
• Operate in accordance with the Company's Safety and Health Policy and all site policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Install and maintain underground Paste Fill infrastructure, including steel and poly reticulation, dump valves, and paste and vent kit walls
• Conduct QAQC of reticulation installations and assist with other mine project work as required
• Complete daily QAQC paperwork covering new reticulation installs and line running
• Seek ways to improve process and performance, contributing to continuous improvement of paste fill operations

Endurance's Abra Mine is located approximately 220km north of Meekatharra, in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The underground mine represents one of the world's cleanest and largest lead-silver projects.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a Paste Crew member to join our Backfill team at Abra Mine Site on a rotating N/S roster (1 N/S every 3 weeks). Reporting to the Paste Fill Leading Hand, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and upkeep of underground Paste Fill infrastructure - including steel and poly reticulation, dump valves, and paste and vent kit walls. This is a hands‑on role at the heart of a growing operation, working alongside experienced professionals to keep our paste fill system running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Bring

• 12 months' experience in a paste or service crew environment
• Experience installing steel and poly paste reticulation, and paste and vent walls
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of work quality and housekeeping
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work safely and efficiently
• Underground experience preferred, though not essential
• A positive attitude and the capacity to handle complex situations with a friendly, professional disposition
• Proven ability to meet deadlines as part of a team

Essential Requirements

• Dogging or Riggers licence, or willingness to obtain
• HR licence preferable
• Working at Heights certification
• Manual driver's licence
• Sound knowledge of site policies and procedures and the operation of underground mobile plant, including light vehicles, IT's, and flatbed trucks
• Ability to conduct pre-start paperwork on vehicles and mobile equipment
• Use of air leg and handheld rock drills desirable
• Availability to work a rotating N/S roster (1 N/S every 3 weeks)
