Job summary

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd in Nhulunbuy is seeking an experienced Partsperson to ensure safe, accurate and timely supply of parts and materials for our customers and operations.

This permanent, Monday to Friday role (38 hours per week) involves picking, packing, storing and dispatching inventory, supporting stocktakes, and maintaining inventory accuracy within company systems while upholding a Zero Harm safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy warehouse, stores or parts environment.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Proficient with inventory systems and transactions.
• Forklift licence is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Keep parts moving – pick, pack, store and dispatch inventory while maintaining stock accuracy and achieving operational targets.
• Support warehouse operations – assist with stocktakes, consumable ordering, administration and continuous improvement activities.

We’re looking for an experienced Partsperson to join our team in Gove to ensure the safe, accurate and timely supply of parts and materials that keep our customers and operations moving.

This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role working 38 hours per week.

What you'll need

• Warehouse experience that counts – previous experience in a busy warehouse, stores or parts environment.
• Customer-focused mindset – strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to customer service.
• Confident with systems – intermediate computer skills and the ability to accurately manage inventory transactions.
• Forklift licence advantage – a current forklift licence is highly desirable.
• Parts knowledge a bonus – familiarity with CAT products, parts and services will be highly regarded.
• Organised and self-motivated – able to manage priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Team player – works effectively with others to achieve shared goals.
• Safety minded – committed to maintaining a safe workplace and supporting a Zero Harm culture.
