Job summary

DDH1 Drilling, part of the Perenti Group, is seeking an experienced Parts & Vendor Coordinator to join the Perth-based Maintenance team. You will coordinate parts sourcing, supplier management and external repairs across a national footprint, supporting drilling rigs, equipment and support fleets.

The role emphasizes parts interpretation, commercial awareness and relationships with OEMs and vendors to improve uptime and repair turnaround.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated parts interpretation experience in mining/drilling or heavy equipment.
• Experience working with OEMs, suppliers and repair vendors.
• Commercial awareness across quotations, pricing, freight and lead times.
• Strong computer skills including ERP and inventory/maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret parts requirements using OEM manuals, drawings, serial numbers.
• Source parts, obtain quotations, place orders and follow up through delivery.
• Identify OEM and aftermarket alternatives where appropriate.
• Maintain critical spares lists and standard parts requirements.
• Coordinate external repairs from quotation to return-to-service.
• Monitor supplier pricing, lead times and performance.
• Support supplier/rationalisation initiatives.
• Ensure quotations and scope are complete before purchasing.
