Job summary

The Brown and Hurley Group in Queensland is seeking a parts sales role to provide exceptional customer service and sell parts for trucks, caravans and machinery. You will identify parts by make, model and variation, and assist workshop teams.

The successful candidate will use knowledge of truck parts, be a strong communicator and team player, with a focus on upselling and accurate invoicing. Forklift licence and automotive sales qualifications are desirable.

• Customer-focused, sales driven, excellent communicator, team player, problem-solver.
• Forklift licence (desirable).
• Automotive sales qualification (desirable).
• Kenworth or DAF parts knowledge (desirable).

• Providing exceptional customer service and sell parts to customers.
• Identify parts by make, model and variation to match customer requests.
• Develop understanding of parts inventory and upsell opportunities.
• Source required parts and arrange dispatch.
• Process payments and prepare invoices.

About you

• Knowledge of truck parts
• Customer-focused, sales driven, excellent communicator, team player, problem-solver, good organisational and computer skills
• Forklift licence (desirable)
• Automotive sales qualification (desirable)
• Kenworth or DAF parts knowledge (desirable)

What you’ll be doing

• Providing exceptional customer service and sell parts to customers
• Ensure customer and workshop parts needs are met by correctly identifying the make, model and variation of the vehicle they’re requesting parts for
• Develop an in-depth understanding of parts inventory and use that knowledge to encourage customers to make more purchases
• Source required parts and arrange dispatch
• Process payments and prepare invoices
