Job summary

Gaffney Machinery in Longford, part of the AEH Group, is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead our busy parts department and keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

You will manage stock, source parts, and support customers and the workshop team, ensuring the right parts are available when needed. With a focus on service, teamwork and safe, efficient processes, this role offers long-term career opportunity within a respected dealership.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar parts management role.
• Current forklift licence or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and ability to manage a small team.

Responsibilities

• Manage our parts department to achieve business goals and budgets
• Liaise with our National Parts Manager regarding overall management of Parts Department
• Develop and maintain excellent long-term customer relationships and generate strong machinery parts sales.
• Source and order parts as well as generate quotes and invoices
• Maintain inventory in line with the business and customer needs, including seasonal demands
• Collaborate with marketing team to promote seasonal products
