Gaffney Machinery in Longford is seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team. Bring your product knowledge, teamwork and passion for keeping operations moving in a fast-paced agricultural and automotive parts environment.

You will liaise with customers to assess needs, advise on parts specs, source and order parts, and generate quotes. Forklift licence is preferred; training and career progression are offered within the AEH Group network.

Qualifications

• Experience in agriculture or automotive industry or parts interpreting.
• Attention to detail and strong communication with customers.
• Problem-solving to identify and interpret parts for customers.
• Current forklift licence or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a clean and presentable parts department, showroom, entrance and storage areas.

The Opportunity:

• Liaising with customers to assess their needs, then recommend and sell them the appropriateparts
• Provide advice regarding parts specifications to customers
• Source and order parts as well as generate quotes and invoices
• Maintain a clean and presentable parts department, including showroom, entrance, parts receival and storage areas
• Maintain inventory in line with the business and customer needs, including seasonal demands

About You:

• Previous experience in the agriculture or automotive industry, or parts interpreting
• Attention to detail is second nature to you, and you excel at communicating effectively with colleagues and customers
• Problem-solving is your forte, and you enjoy the challenge of identifying and interpreting parts for customers
• Current forklift licence ticket or willing to obtain
• You’re eager to contribute to a dynamic team and are committed to delivering top-notch service in the agricultural machinery industry
