McPhersons Parts & Service in Parkes, NSW, is seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our AEH Group network. You’ll liaise with customers to assess needs, recommend and sell appropriate parts, and provide advice on specifications.

The role involves sourcing, ordering parts, generating quotes and invoices, and maintaining a tidy, well-organized parts department. We value accuracy, strong communication, and problem-solving, with forklift licence in hand or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position.
• Attention to detail is second nature to you, and you excel at communicating effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Problem-solving is your forte, and you enjoy the challenge of identifying and interpreting parts for customers.
• Current forklift licence ticket or willing to obtain.
• Eager to contribute to a dynamic team and deliver top-notch service in the agricultural machinery industry.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers to assess their needs, then recommend and sell the appropriate parts.
• Provide advice regarding parts specifications to customers.
• Source and order parts as well as generate quotes and invoices.
• Maintain a clean and presentable parts department, including showroom, entrance, parts receival and storage areas.
• Maintain inventory in line with the business and customer needs, including seasonal demands.
