Job summary

Black Truck & AG Gatton is seeking a Parts Interpreter to support workshop technicians and customers with parts, orders, and stock control. You will help maintain showroom displays and provide excellent service in person and by phone.

The role requires a current Driver Licence and a Forklift Licence, with training provided for the right candidate. A friendly, family-oriented team environment and ongoing development opportunities are offered at our Gatton dealership in Queensland.

Qualifications

• Experience in agricultural, truck, automotive, or machinery parts is valued, but training will be provided.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in stock and orders are important.

Responsibilities

• Supply parts to workshop technicians and retail customers.
• Process parts orders, receipting, and inventory management.
• Stock control and stocktaking activities.
• Receive large stock deliveries and shelf replenishment.
• Maintain attractive and organised showroom displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
• General housekeeping and dispatch area organisation.

About the Role

As our Parts Interpreter, you'll be a key part of the dealership's daily operations, responsible for:

Supplying parts to workshop technicians and retail customers

Processing parts orders, receipting, and inventory management

Stock control and stocktaking activities

Receiving large stock deliveries and shelf replenishment

Maintaining attractive and organised showroom displays

Providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone

General housekeeping and dispatch area organisation

Participating in a rotating Saturday roster (8:00am – 11:00am)

About You

You are someone who:

Enjoys working with customers and building relationships

Has strong communication and organisational skills

Is reliable, self-motivated, and team-focused

Holds a current Driver Licence

Holds a current Forklift Licence

Has a good understanding of workplace health and safety

Takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail

Experience in agricultural, truck, automotive, or machinery parts is highly regarded, but not essential. We are willing to train the right person who brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
