Job summary

Caravanland Beckenham in WA is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Assistant to join our Parts & Accessories team. You’ll help customers in-store, over the phone and by email, and learn a wide range of caravan and RV products.

This full-time role (Tuesday–Saturday) supports stock, displays and daily store duties, with Sundays and Mondays off. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential; caravan experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Friendly, reliable and comfortable talking to customers.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn about caravan products.
• Must have a current WA Driver’s Licence and a National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).

The Caravan ToyShop at Caravanland Beckenham is looking for a friendly and motivatedRetail Sales Assistantto join our Parts & Accessories team.

You don’t need to be a caravan expert. If you have a great attitude, enjoy working with customers and are willing to learn, we’ll help you build the product knowledge you need.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be part of the team looking after our busy retail store, helping customers find the right products and making sure the shop runs smoothly.

Your day will include:

• Helping customers in-store, over the phone and by email
• Recommending parts and accessories to suit customers’ needs
• Processing sales and operating our POS system
• Helping our workshop team with parts
• Receiving, unpacking and restocking products
• Keeping shelves and displays organised and well presented
• Assisting with stocktakes and general day-to-day store duties

There’s plenty of variety, and you’ll learn about a huge range of caravan and RV products along the way.

What we’re looking for:

We’re primarily looking for the right person.

You’ll be friendly, reliable and comfortable talking to customers. You’ll enjoy being part of a team but also be able to get on with a job independently when needed.

Retail or customer service experience would be an advantage, but caravan or RV experience isn’t essential – we can teach you the products.

You’ll need:

• Good communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• To be comfortable with the physical side of retail, including unpacking and moving stock
• A current WA Driver’s Licence
• A current National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
