Job summary

Qualify delivers education, employment and support services in partnership with government, employers and community partners. The Engagement Officer in Echuca leads participant intake and onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition from referral to program start while coordinating information sessions and assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience in participant engagement, intake and onboarding.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain documentation.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Ability to travel within region and hold a valid driver’s licence.
• Current Working with Children Check and clear National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead group and individual program information sessions for prospective participants.
• Conduct pre-training reviews, suitability checks, pre-training interviews and core skills assessments.
• Coordinate participant onboarding, enrolment, induction, and commencement processes.
• Ensure participants receive clear, timely, and supportive communication throughout the process.
• Receive, track, and action referrals in a timely manner in line with program KPIs.
• Liaise with Workforce Australia providers, other referral agencies, employers, community partners, and internal teams to progress referrals efficiently.
• Build effective professional working relationships with referral partners, employers, government stakeholders, and community organisations.
• Ensure participant records and onboarding documents are accurate, complete, and stored correctly.
• Maintain compliance with funding contracts, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with delivery staff to ensure smooth handover into active program participation.
