Job summary

Meli in Geelong, VIC, is seeking a Tenancy Administration Worker to support young people through transitional housing programs across Barwon and South West regions. You will manage a portfolio of properties and ensure tenancy administration aligns with relevant legislation.

This part-time fixed term role (0.8 FTE) requires a Certificate IV in a related field, tenancy or property management experience, and a current Victorian driver's license.

Qualifications

Certificate IV in Business, Administration, Community Services, Youth Work or equivalent.
Experience in tenancy or property management preferred.
Knowledge of tenancy law and housing compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of transitional housing properties (shared, family, crisis, Youth Foyer).
Administer tenancies in line with the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 and rights acts.
Collaborate with support workers to promote successful tenancies and outcomes.
Maintain accurate records, coordinate property maintenance, and assist reporting.
Represent Meli Housing in external forums and build stakeholder relationships.
