Job summary

Cater Care is seeking a skilled Workplace Relations Advisor to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, offering hybrid work and flexible hours. This role partners with leaders across our Australian business to navigate performance matters, grievances and investigations.

With 2+ years of experience and a strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, you will develop ER/IR policies, conduct investigations, and contribute to strategic people initiatives while balancing competing priorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in Workplace/Employee/Industrial Relations roles.
• Strong knowledge interpreting the Fair Work Act and industrial instruments.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations with witness interviews and reports.
• Able to develop, review and implement ER/IR policies and procedures.
• Relationship-building with leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
• Commercially minded with a solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical advice to leaders on performance, disciplinary and conduct matters.
• Support leaders to navigate grievances and sensitive workplace issues.
• Interpret and advise on the Fair Work Act, employment contracts and instruments.
• Plan and conduct workplace investigations and prepare findings reports.
• Review and improve ER/IR policies, procedures and practices.
• Contribute to broader Workplace Relations initiatives across the business.
• Represent Cater Care in the Fair Work and EEO Commissions when needed.
