Cater Care is seeking a part-time Workplace Relations Advisor to support the Group Workplace Relations Manager across Brisbane or Sydney with a hybrid work setup.

The role focuses on giving practical advice on performance, handling grievances, interpreting the Fair Work Act, and conducting workplace investigations. It offers a path within a growing multi-site catering group and promotes professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven years experience in a Workplace Relations/IR Advisor role.
• Tertiary qualifications in HR/IR preferable but not essential.
• Experience interpreting the Fair Work Act and industrial instruments.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical advice on workforce performance and disciplinary matters.
• Support leaders on performance and behavioral issues.
• Interpret and advise on contracts and industrial instruments.
• Conduct workplace investigations with evidence plans and findings reports.
• Assist in improving ER/IR policies and procedures.
• Keep up to date with HR/IR legislation and regulations.
• Utilise an online ER/IR casework system.
• Contribute to ER/IR projects and initiatives.
