Job summary

Spicers Guesthouse Hunter Valley, part of Salter Brothers Hospitality, seeks a part-time Wedding and Events Coordinator to join the Sales and Events team. You will support end-to-end wedding processes, coordinate site visits and manage contractors, while building strong client relationships in a luxurious regional setting.

Located in the Hunter Valley, the role requires a passion for events, strong computer skills and the ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays,

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in a Wedding/Events Coordinator role (essential)
• Real passion for events and creating memorable moments for guests
• Strong computer skills to communicate, plan, budget and organise events
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with ability to work autonomously or in a team
• Ability and willingness to commence work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
• Reliable vehicle to get to and from the retreat / willingness to relocate near retreat

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end wedding processes from initial meet-and-greets to site inspections and managing contractors.
• Host site visits, prepare event orders, review contract proposals and coordinate successful events that guests will love.
• Connect with clients before, during and after events to build loyal relationships with guests and locals.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of weddings and events.
• Distribute event orders to relevant departments and ensure interdepartmental communication.
• Manage financial and administrative elements such as event orders, run sheets, payments and settlements.
