Job summary

Upper Lachlan Shire Council is seeking a friendly, reliable person to join our Waste Management Centre team. The role focuses on providing efficient service at waste management centres and ensuring customers are guided and fees recorded accurately. This is a permanent part-time position with weekend loading.

The role requires one Sunday shift every fortnight, 9:45am–4:15pm (6.5 hours) at Collector Transfer Station. Applicants should hold a WHS White Card and a current Class C Licence.

Qualifications

• WHS General Construction Induction (White) card.
• Demonstrated customer service skills including information sharing and fee recording.
• Ability to work productively in a team and independently.
• Current Class C Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and effective service at council waste management centres.
• Record fees and assist customers with information and explanations.
• Work as a reliable team member and, when needed, independently.
