Job summary

Fair City Vets in Perth, Scotland, is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist for a part-time role (20 hours per week). You will be the first point of contact for clients, delivering a welcoming, professional experience and supporting daily practice operations.

You will manage appointments, handle enquiries, take payments and liaise with the clinical team to ensure a smooth client and patient journey. The role offers a collaborative environment with learning opportunities and career

Here at Fair City Vets, we are looking for a friendly and approachable Veterinary Receptionist to join our fantastic team. This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week.

Fair City Vets is a veterinary practice located in the heart of Perth.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern
  • 20 hours per week
  • Rota basis between the hours of 8am-7pm
Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting clients and their pets with warmth and empathy
  • Managing appointments, phone calls, and emails efficiently
  • Taking payments and handling invoices accurately
