Job summary

Software Co is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to attract, identify, interview, and onboard exceptional talent across business and technology roles in Australia. This role partners with leadership to manage end-to-end recruitment, build talent pipelines, and improve candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR.
• Experience recruiting both technical and non-technical roles.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional and confident approach when dealing with candidates and executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies across multiple business functions.
• Create compelling job advertisements and candidate outreach campaigns.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, Seek, referrals, networking, and other channels.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
• Conduct phone screenings and first-round interviews.
• Assess technical and non-technical competencies.
• Evaluate cultural fit and long-term potential.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and leadership.
• Manage recruitment pipelines and applicant tracking systems.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications.
• Prepare candidate summaries and hiring recommendations.
• Conduct reference checks and employment verification.
• Assist with onboarding and induction processes.
• Help improve candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives.
• Support employee engagement and retention activities.
