A Teacher Aide position at Aviation High School, Queensland Department of Education, is available in a temporary part-time capacity (0.66 FTE), 50 hours per fortnight, until 09 July 2027 unless extended.

You will support the English HOD, run the Accelerated Reader Program, and assist the Teacher Librarian with library operations and student supervision. The role emphasises effective communication, confidentiality, and empathy for students with high needs.

• Experience supporting library programs and instruction.
• Ability to supervise students and assist a teacher.
• Strong communication and collaboration with teaching staff.

• Organise and run the Accelerated Reader Program.
