Job summary

Queensland Department of Education – Darling Downs QLD is seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide to join our school community. This temporary part-time role (0.39FTE) offers 30 hours per fortnight and involves supporting teachers with classroom activities, resources and individual student needs.

You will assist with literacy and numeracy programs, small-group learning and ensure a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students across Kindy to Year Six.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Student Learning Support: Assist with literacy/numeracy activities and small-group learning.
• Inclusive Education: Support diverse learners with care and empathy.
• Classroom Preparation: Organise learning materials and equipment for lessons.
• Student Wellbeing and Safety: Promote wellbeing and assist with supervision as needed.
• School Activities and Supervision: Support excursions, sports, and events.
• Administrative Support: Handle class rolls and learning resources.
