Job summary

Hawkesbury City Council is seeking a Senior Subdivision and Development Engineer on a part-time basis (16 hours per week). The role provides civil engineering advice for land and subdivision developments, with the opportunity to work within a supportive team that values innovation and community outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, have extensive design experience in development planning, and be able to present evidence in the Land and Environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Extensive design experience in development planning and engineering.
• Knowledge of EPA Act 1979, Local Government Act 1993, Roads Act 1993 and related regulations.
• Experience as a witness in Court.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Right to live and work in Australia.
• Class C Drivers Licence.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Background checks and medical declaration.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering advice on land and subdivision developments.
• Provide investigation, design and customer service support for Council’s engineering activities.
• Prepare evidence and present before the Land and Environment Court.
