Job summary

Aspect Hunter School is seeking a self-motivated maintenance/groundskeeper to perform repairs and routine upkeep across school buildings and grounds in Thornton. The role requires ability to work unsupervised as well as with a team.

The position is part-time, 2 or 3 days per week, with a maximum-term contract through to end-2027. NSW Working with Children Check and a current driver’s licence are required, and the role includes driving school vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience with general maintenance of grounds/buildings.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general trade maintenance.
• Understanding of machinery/equipment operation for building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance and repair work to school buildings and grounds.
• Ensure building systems run smoothly (air conditioning, pumps).
• Replace locks, windows and light bulbs; patch holes and do woodwork repairs.
