Chartwells in Victoria is seeking a part-time or casual Catering Assistant to support our school dining service. The role involves basic coffee making, food preparation and delivering friendly customer service to Year 9 students during school hours.

You will dish wash, assist kitchen, operate till, and work with the team to ensure smooth operations while maintaining hygiene standards. This position offers term-time hours with school holidays off, and opportunities to learn new skills and

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and basic food handling.
• Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain.
• National Police Clearance.
• Friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
• Barista skills are an advantage.
• Flexible to handle diverse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Dishes washing using a commercial dishwasher and general cleaning.
• Assist the kitchen to prepare and present basic food and beverages.
• Provide friendly customer service.
• Operate the till to take orders and process transactions.
