Job summary

Subway Australia is hiring for Sandwich Artist positions at several stores, including Brandon Park, Monash University, and Nottinghill. High school students are welcome to apply, with shifts available in the morning, day/lunch, and evening.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or retail is desirable but training will be provided.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment and be customer-focused.
• Flexible to work morning, day/lunch, and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bread and bakery items and assist in food preparation.
• Maintain food storage and preparation areas per Health & Safety standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice and audit standards.
• Operate the till and assist customers at the counter.
• Monitor stock levels and check in deliveries.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and uniform presentation.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high service quality.

Job description

We have several Sandwich Artist positions available at the following Subway stores:

• Brandon Park -- Springvale and Ferntree Gully Road Glen Waverley 3150
• Monash University - Clayton Campus
• Subway Nottinghill ( limited opportunity ) - 350 Ferntree Gully road, Nottinghill 3168

High school students (Year 10, 11, 12) are welcome to apply.

Shifts Schedule

• Morning staff

• Evening shift

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses. What’s more important is a winning attitude. • Food preparation including bread and cookie baking
