Job summary

Subway Australia is hiring Sandwich Artists for multiple Ballarat stores. You will work in a fast-paced, customer-facing role focused on preparing sandwiches, handling orders, and delivering excellent service. Full training is provided to help you learn Subway standards and safety practices.

No prior experience is necessary; a positive attitude and teamwork are valued. You will join a supportive team, with opportunities to grow into supervisory or managerial levels as you develop in the Subway

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or retail is helpful but not required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation including bread and cookie baking.
• Ensure food storage and preparation areas meet Health & Safety standards.
• Operate tills and handle cash when needed.
• Monitor stock levels and check deliveries.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.

• Subway Alferd Square -- Alfred Sqaure Shopping centre Shop T01 Curtis Street -BIG W Ballarat
• Subway Sebastopol -- Shop 1 58-60 Albert Street Sebastapol
• Subway Creswick Road Ballarat -- 706 Creswick Road Ballarat
• Subway Maryborough -- 167 High Street Maryborough
• Subway Ballarat Central -- 701 Sturt Street Ballarat

Shifts Schedule

• Morning staff
• Day/Lunch staff

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses. What’s more important is a winning attitude. If you’re currently working in retail or in a restaurant, perhaps you are studying or have recently graduated and are looking to start a career in the food industry.
