Job summary

NSW Health Pathology at Prince of Wales Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time temporary position. You will contribute to patient care within the pathology collection service and support inpatients and outpatients.

The role offers 16 hours per week, hourly remuneration of AUD 41.22–57.88 plus super, until January 2028 with potential ongoing employment. NSW Health Pathology provides job security, training opportunities and employee wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Venepuncture experience and pathology terminology familiarity.
• Willingness to learn paediatric and neonate blood collection.
• Commitment to quality management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a customer-focused pathology collection service for inpatients and outpatients.
• Perform venepuncture on inpatients and outpatients as required.
• Perform venesection on inpatients and outpatients as required.
