Job summary

Respect Master Lodge in Queensland is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our supportive team on a part-time basis, delivering compassionate, person-centred care to our residents.

You will provide safe clinical nursing, administer medications, complete accurate documentation, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support residents’ wellbeing, dignity and independence. AHPRA registration is required and knowledge of aged care standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA and eligible to practice in Australia.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of aged care standards and accreditation processes.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Certificate.
• Understanding of residential classification and care planning.
• Commitment to person-centred care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Compile comprehensive histories from residents and families to identify care needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation reflecting care delivery.
• Develop, implement and evaluate resident care plans and assist with admissions.
• Provide direct clinical care including personal hygiene, pain management and GP rounds.
• Administer medications with proper ordering, storage and documentation.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal resident outcomes.
• Promote a safe, respectful environment for residents, families and staff.
