Job summary

Star Aviation is seeking a Ramp Officer at Emerald Airport to support aircraft turnarounds with ground handling services. The role involves ramp duties, baggage handling, cabin cleaning, and operation of ground support equipment to ensure safe, on-time departures.

This is a permanent part-time/casual position based in Emerald, requiring English fluency, strong teamwork, and a safety-focused approach. Training provided on-site to meet client and Star Aviation standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.

• Attention to safety, accuracy, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform Ramp functions including marshalling and aircraft receipt/dispatch.
• Handle baggage and freight loading/unloading in accordance with instructions.
• Deliver cabin cleaning and fleet presentation services.
• Operate ground support equipment (stairs, GPUs, tugs, etc.).
• Maintain safety standards and report hazards or incidents.
