Job summary

South Coast Radiology on the Gold Coast is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse for a 12 Month Maternity Leave contract until 2027 at Pindara Hospital. You will support Radiologists and patients during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Candidates must be an Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration. IV Cannulation experience is preferred, ALS is a bonus, and you should be able to respond effectively in emergencies while delivering clear communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration.
• IV Cannulation experience preferred.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) preferred.
• Able to respond effectively in emergencies.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Previous surgical or radiology experience (beneficial).

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of care to patients, technical staff and Radiologists.
• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are observed.
• Admission, monitoring, and recovery of patients undergoing interventional procedures.
• PICC line insertion (training provided).
• Apply sound knowledge for post-procedure care, recovery and discharge.
• Participate in an on-call roster.
