Austin Health is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with Breast capability for a senior, part-time position in Melbourne. The role includes participation in the on-call roster, teaching, and contributing to audit and research activities within the Radiology Department.

The Radiology department supports multiple campuses and offers a comprehensive imaging service. The appointment emphasizes teaching, clinical leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Formación

• AHPRA registration is required to practice as a Medical Practitioner in Australia.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) or equivalent is required.
• Training and experience in Interventional Radiology is desirable.
• Breast capability is preferred for this Radiologist role.
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care, teamwork, teaching and research.

Responsabilidades

• Act as an expert consultant to referring clinicians and patients.
• Perform screening activities as part of radiology services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Ensure radiation protection and safety to minimise exposure for patients and staff.
• Maintain MR safety for patients and staff.
• Foster a safe work culture and adherence to safe work practices.
• Engage in CPD to maintain knowledge and upskill as required.
