Job summary

Family Doctor Pty Ltd is seeking two part-time Practice Nurses to join Hillcrest Family Medicine. You will provide expert nursing care in a General Practice, with strong team support, ongoing learning, and development opportunities.

The role emphasizes patient education, excellent communication, and ability to manage diverse patient needs. Successful candidates will hold current AHPRA registration and have experience in busy GP settings.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration.
• Experience in busy General Practice and/or primary health setting.
• Experience with chronic disease management and health assessments is an advantage.
• Ability to perform all general practice nurse duties: immunisations, procedure assistance, wound dressing, stock ordering, etc.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage reminder/recall systems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide immunisations and procedure assistance.
• Wound dressing and basic nursing procedures.
• Stock ordering and practice supplies management.
• Support patient education and health promotion.
