Job summary

Griffith University Logan campus is seeking a part-time Placement Officer to support Nursing and Midwifery placements. The role involves administrative duties, placement program coordination, and collaboration with academic and professional staff under supervision.

The successful candidate will be highly organised with placement experience preferred, and will work across multiple sites with a fixed-term contract to 1 April 2027 at 0.60FTE.

Qualifications

• Motivated, highly organised and experienced administrator/placement officer.
• Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to advanced software skills required; placement experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for student placement including allocation, coordination, and management of placement programs.
• Utilise placement software to manage ongoing placement requirements and accurate reporting as needed.
• Attend relevant meetings including placement officer meetings and discipline-specific meetings.
