Job summary

St Vincent's Public Hospital Sydney is seeking a Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care, dispensing and patient counselling within a hospital setting. The role is permanent, full-time, with weekend and on-call rosters and a rotational exposure across specialties.

You will join a pharmacy team focused on safety, quality and patient-centred care, supported by orientation and structured training to advance clinical pharmacy, dispensing and drug information skills.

• Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist with unrestricted scope of practice.
• Strong clinical drug knowledge and commitment to ongoing professional development.

About you

Understanding of formulary management principles and practical application of formulary decisions in a hospital setting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and within a team, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
