Job summary

St Vincent’s Public Hospital Sydney in Darlinghurst is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care, dispensing, distribution and medication counselling. The role is a permanent, full-time position in the Pharmacy department, with weekend and on-call rosters, and a focus on safety and quality improving patient outcomes.

Current AHPRA registration is required, with unrestricted scope. You will engage with multidisciplinary teams, participate in formulary decisions, and take part

Qualifications

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist with unrestricted scope of practice.
  • Strong clinical drug knowledge and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to participate in weekend and on-call rosters as required.
  • Understanding of formulary management principles and practical application in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and within a team.

About the role
