Job summary

Westpac Group in Edwardstown, SA is seeking a part-time Personal Banking Advisor to join our branch team. The role offers 25 hours per week, with shifts 10am–3pm across Monday to Friday, and may require covering other branches in the area.

You will welcome customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored banking solutions both in person and over the phone. Training and ongoing support are provided to help you excel.

Qualifications

• Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer-facing / phone-based role with experience of working to targets.
• Resilience, with an ability to remain calm and composed whilst managing challenging situations.
• Comfortable in working towards sales / referral targets and calling customers over the phone.
• Numerical capability, ideally with proficiency in cash handling and counting, with ability to complete financial transactions with accuracy.
• An energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people.
• The will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Westpac and engage in conversations to uncover their needs and provide tailored banking solutions (in person and over the phone).
• Refer customers to specialised Banking teams when necessary.
• Support branch team with coverage and flexibility for leave across Westpac Group branches in the area.
