Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking an Operations Assistant at Canterbury Hospital to support perioperative services, including porterage, theatre linen, and cleaning, and to assist with intraoperative duties. The role requires commitment to a roster with afternoons, evenings, and nights in a hospital theatre setting.

Ideal candidates will have experience in intraoperative theatre tasks or a willingness to learn, plus specialised cleaning skills and a focus on safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in intraoperative theatre duties including transfer of patients onto the operating table and positioning of patients or willingness to learn.
• Ability to commit to a roster providing afternoon and evening cover 7 days a week, including night shift
• Specialised cleaning skills.

Responsibilities
